-Did approx. 6.5K for the 30minute run. Then tried some partner carries. Managed to carry Rich about 50m. Then did the 3 sets of 20 GHDs(easy) and the row. Good day!
Nice day to run, row, and bike outside. Nicole and I had a great run along the Seine river path. I`m glad Jodi showed me the fireman carry technique because it made the carries much easier. Nicole showed me the Reverse Hyper which I will definitely start to use to help my posterior chain - I`ve been having some minor back issues lately. I am now officially resting.
30 minutes for me was 4.5km which is good for me. Rowed (ended up with 5865m) while everyone ran due to time contraints, did the GHD and then the partner carry. Even carried Yacine but anything farther than 50m with him would be tough. Rich and "Brad" (aka Chris) weren't too bad to carry. Went to the snake pits and even held a snake! Don't know what it is but I just don't like touching them :)
I did a version of yesterdays wod today. I did the following: 300m row 25 wallball 30 box jump 15 burpees 25 KBS 30 DB push press 300 m row 25 wallball 30 box jump.
it was a gooder.
Can't do the run today. I have a HUGE bakers cyst on the back of my knee and it is killing me. I'm going to get checked this week and will see if they can drain it with a needle to relieve the pressure. Not sure if they will or not but I have to do something as I'm spending 100% of the time in pain.
Good news is that I'm an official CF Kids trainer! the cert was a blast. Will be home late monday night. are we training on tuesday at all?
Good job with the cert Brad! I think you and Pascal are perfect for teaching kids. Sorry to heal about the knee, take it easy, don't get hurt. We are going Tuesday but haven't received anything from B yet so don't know the groups or times or anything. If you can't make Tuesday don't stress about it.
